MASTER OF REINVENTION SET TO 

RELEASE HIS THIRD STUDIO ALBUM

Laced with electric synths & non-abrasive sonics, singer-songwriter Monti Korbelle’s newest album explores an alternative perspective to heartbreak by conveying the five stages of grief.

Monti Korbelle's music career began in 2015 producing humorous remixes for friends during University. He is now set to release his third studio album, “Our Conclusion Is in Arizona” on November 11th, 2022. 

Korbelle grew up in Wisconsin but now resides in San Antonio, Texas. Though his creative drive began at a young age, producing music was seen as challenging social normalities. As well as this, access to resources proved to present limitations. But this hasn’t stopped Korbelle. Currently writing and producing his own music, the now 29-year-old has 2 albums and 3 singles currently on streaming platforms. 

“I’m inspired by artists who approach music unconventionally without any noticeable care for commercial appeal, but rather for the quality of the art, which is something I also aim for” says Korbelle. His biggest inspiration being James Blake, he also resonates with artists Flèche Love, Jordan Rakei, and Oneohtrix Point Never.

Korbelle intentionally reinvents his sound with each album release. “My ambition to avoid commitment to a specific genre allows for me to expand in whichever creative direction impassions me at the time of the project”. His first studio album released in 2020, “Global Carbon Tax Economy” consisted of political rap & trap drums. While producing this, Korbelle faced struggles with his mental health, getting lost in research and development. Upon producing his second studio album “Mount Moon” one year later, Korbelle began a journey of self-evaluation. This helped him create a foundation to begin his next creative endeavour. 

Unlike other albums centred around heartbreak, “Our Conclusion Is in Arizona” encompasses the five stages of grief. From the denial stage in track “Suspension of Disbelief” to the acceptance stage in the tracks “Bye My Love” & “Sunscreen on Our Shoulders”. “It’s easy to be alienating and different. It’s difficult to connect deeply with the listener while simultaneously being different”. Korbelle hopes that listeners can connect greatly with this album, helping them reach the acceptance stage of heartbreak. From start to finish, “Our Conclusion Is in Arizona” will take you on a journey of personal development and awareness. 

Not only does Korbelle create music, but also contemporary art. Along with the album release, he will also be sharing two single-shot videos. Korbelle has put his own twist on each piece, further setting himself apart from anything seen before - one being digitally painted in Blender, and the other being traditionally painted and then digitally manipulated. "I am always excited to find new technological advances to manipulate for my own work" says Korbelle.

Involved with creating music for nearly 8 years now, one of Korbelle's goals is to reach a point where all his creative projects fall together into a bigger picture. With many ideas for future projects, he is set to keep working on this endeavour. 

If there is one thing you can learn from Monti Korbelle, it is don't give up on what you are passionate about, because one day you will find yourself on the road to creative success.
